Patricia E. (Smith) Hosfelt

Patricia E. (Smith) Hosfelt, age 71, of Mechanicsburg died on Monday, January 1, 2024.  Patricia was born on Saturday, March 8, 1952, in Mechanicsburg to the late Rhuell Wellington Smith and Sara Romaine (Greegor) Smith.  Patricia was the widow of Ray F. Hosfelt, whom she married in 1983, and who died on July 5, 2009.  In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia is preceded in death by her two siblings: Johnny Smith and Sherry Smith.

Patricia’s survivors include her three siblings: James Wellington Smith and his wife Laurie, of Dillsburg, Cindy Hedges and her husband, Leo, of Gatesville, NC, George Smith and his wife, Lisa, of Mechanicsburg; her four nieces and nephews: Jennifer Baker and her husband, Philip, of Etters, Joshua Smith and his wife, Brittany, of Mechanicsburg, Sara Gorsuch and her husband, Wes, of Carlisle, Jesse Smith and his wife, Justine, of Chambersburg; her three great-nieces: Bella, Millie, Molly; her good friend, Linda Robinson of Freeport, FL; and her faithful skunk companion, Stinker Bella.

Patricia had an intense love for the Philadelphia Phillies, and always made time to watch their games.  She cherished her time with her Texas Roadhouse family and made many happy memories with them.  Patricia will be dearly missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.

Patricia’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Interment will be at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.
