Patricia “Pat” Marie (Sechrist) Lee
A Really Good Person -
Patricia “Pat” Marie (Sechrist) Lee, age 64, of Mechanicsburg, was finally freed from her longtime struggle with debilitating pain on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Pat was born on Monday, April 9, 1951 in Mechanicsburg to the late Robert Gilbert Sechrist and Vera Belle (Briggs) Sechrist. In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her three sisters: Phyliss Crone, Elizabeth Jane Bressler, and Donna Bechtel.
Pat’s survivors include her husband of 47 years, John “Jack” Robert Lee; her two children: Tracey Marie Taylor and her husband, Dan, and their daughter, Halee, of Dillsburg, Brad Scott Lee and his wife, Amy, and their children, Isabella, Avah, and Tessa, of Mechanicsburg; her four grandchildren; and her two sisters: LuRilla Kraly and her husband, Dick, of East Berlin, and Judy Witters of Dillsburg.
Pat graduated from Cedar Cliff High School as part of the class of 1968. She retired from Giant Food Stores, after over 20 years of service working in the deli and bakery. Pat’s life was centered on her family and she adored her grandkids. She was very caring and loving, always thinking of others before herself. Pat was a strong woman who lived her life to the fullest and would never allow anything to hold her back. Her family will remember her sense of humor and how she loved to laugh. Pat was also known for telling others what she thought and always being an honest person. She enjoyed going to yard sales, gambling at the casino, gardening, working outdoors, playing card games, and shopping for many hours at a time. Pat had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs and cats. She will be deeply missed and remembered for being a really good person.
All are welcome to join Pat’s family at her gathering of family and friends on Saturday, November 28, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Pastor Jim Spurrier officiating. Interment will be private in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Gardners. Honored to be the urn bearer is Brad Lee. Cremation was private.
