Patricia “Trish” Anne (Dreibelbis) Jante-Clappsy, 60, of Mechanicsburg , died at home and with her loving husband by her side on Monday, February 11, 2013. She was born in Halifax, on Sunday, November 9, 1952, daughter of the late Ralph M. Dreibelbis, Jr. and Mary Louise (Schaeffer) Dreibelbis.
Trish’s survivors include her loving husband of 7 years, Frank Richard Clappsy; her brother, Kent L. Dreibelbis and his wife Kathy of Lewisberry; her nephew, Dwight E. Dreibelbis and his wife Jennifer and their son Kenneth of Virginia; and her two beloved cats, Chillon Louise and Pia Maria.
Trish graduated from Halifax High School . She retired as a Specialist from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor & Industry in Harrisburg. Trish was a member of The Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick in Harrisburg, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was formerly a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg, where she was a member of the Rosary Club . Trish loved to cook and was an avid reader. She excelled as a classical pianist and enjoyed playing the harp. Her love and passion for animals was everlasting. Trish was well-traveled and liked talking to people and sharing with them her love of life.
All are welcome to join Trish’s family at her gathering of family and friends on Saturday, February 23, 2013, from 10:30 until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at The Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick , 212 State Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101, with The Reverend Thomas J. Rozman celebrating. Trish’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at her church following the Mass. Cremation was private. All are welcome to join Trish’s family at her interment on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 10:00 in Oak Hill Cemetery in Millersburg.
