Penelope “Penny” Louise (Wooster) Hahn, age 69, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016. Penny was born on Saturday, November 8, 1947 in Phillipsburg, PA, to Beatrice “Bea” Louise (Coudriet) Wooster and the late Chester Clayton Wooster. In addition to her father, Penny is preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Marie Wooster, and her brother, Kevin Chester Wooster.
Penny’s survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Richard “Rich” David Hahn; her son, Damien R. Hahn and his wife, Janna, of Shiremanstown, PA; her mother, Beatrice “Bea” Wooster and her companion, Gene Dixon, of Warnersville, PA; her sister, Debra Wooster of Clearfield, PA; and her faithful Shih Tzu companion, Nicky.
Penny graduated from West Branch High School as part of the class of 1965. She worked for the CIA, Karthaus Bank, Bethany Village, and Giant Food Store. Penny was a life-long member of the Catholic faith. She was a good cook and her family looked forward to enjoying the meals she skillfully prepared for them. Penny loved her dogs and grand-dogs and she treasure spending time with them.
Penny’s family will be remembering her life privately. Cremation was private.
