Peter Jensen, Sr.

Peter Francis Jensen, Sr., age 75, of Mechanicsburg, died on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Peter was born on Wednesday, February 23, 1949, to the late Charles Daniel Jensen and Mary (Kearney) Jensen. Peter was the widower of Linda Edna (Mezick) Jensen, who were married for over 50 years. In addition to his parents, Peter is proceeded in death by his son: Erik Jensen, and his brother: Charles Jensen. 

Peter’s survivors include his four children: Jennifer McClucas and husband Keith of Mechanicsburg, Kristine Jones and husband Daniel, Carrie March and husband Robert Sheaffer of Carlisle, Peter Jensen, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Palm Bay, FL; his 14 grandchildren; James Hairston, Cory Hairston, Kayla Jensen, Michael Jensen,Daniel Jones, Jr., Kiera March, Nickolas March, Callie Sheaffer, Lillian Sheaffer, Sophia Sheaffer, Peter Jensen III, Luke Jensen , Brandon McClucas, Joshua McClucas,  ; his 12 great-grand children: Aubree McClucas, Isabella McClucas, Miles McClucas, Kacien McClucas, Juno McClucas, Parker Wright, Isla Wright, Josiah Hairston, Ava Jensen, Jazara Jones, Legend Jones, Sky Jensen; and several nieces and nephews. 

All are welcome to join Peter’s family at his viewing on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Cremation will be private.
