Loving Sister -
Our Beloved Sister, Phoebe Rebecca Gates, 66, of Mechanicsburg has passed into the Arms of her Savior after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, July 8, 2016. Phoebe was born August 7, 1949 at Seidle Hospital in Mechanicsburg, PA. She graduated from Mechanicsburg Senior High School in 1967 and attended Keuka College in New York. She then graduated from Trinity Bible College in ND. Retiring from Pennsylvania Blue Shield/Highmark, Phoebe enjoyed reading, playing computer games and clowning with friends and family. She will be sorely missed be all who knew her.
Surviving Phoebe are two sisters, Janet and Elaine, a brother Paul and his wife, Karen, and two nieces, Leigh and Heidi. Her parents Paul R. and Yvonne Gates pre-deceased her.
Honoring her wishes, there will be no services. Farewell little sister, see you on the other side.
