Priscilla Elaine (Heckert) Russell, age 68, of Mechanicsburg, died at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 9, 2018.  Priscilla was born on Thursday, June 16, 1949 in Mechanicsburg to the late Fred Grant Heckert and Henrietta Madaline (Lambert) Heckert.  In addition to her parents, Priscilla is preceded in death by her 15 deceased siblings.

Priscilla’s survivors include her husband of 19 years, Charles “Charlie” William Russell; her son: Keith A. Heckert and his wife, Adriana, of Shiremanstown; her two granddaughters: Chelsea and Carleigh; her brother, Johnny Blair; her two sisters: Frances Biggs and Rosie Hoover; and several nieces and nephews.

Priscilla loved her music, especially Elvis and every kind of country.  She was a faithful collector of angels and carousels and had collected many of both over the years.   Cooking was one of Priscilla’s strengths and her family enjoyed her good food.  Family reunions at Fuller Lake in Mt. Holly were special times for Priscilla and she looked forward to each and every one.  She loved her family deeply and adored her grandchildren, basically living her life for them.  Priscilla was loved so much by her family and friends and will be missed terribly.

All are welcome to join Priscilla’s family at her gathering of family and friends on Friday, February 16, 2018, from 1:15 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Chaplain Alan Echard officiating.  Priscilla’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Hoss's Steak & Sea House, 61 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Cremation was private.
