Rella “Rel” Elaine (Mills) Plues, age 68, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully at home unexpectedly in her sleep on Thursday, August 16, 2018.  Rel was born on Wednesday, August 17, 1949 in Bloomsburg.

Rel’s survivors include her husband of 36 years, Karry “Jay” Plues; her son, Nicholas “Nick” Grassi, III, and his fiancé, Tonia Draisey, of Lemoyne; and her six grandchildren: Destinee Grassi, Aiden Draisey, Kieran Draisey, Irelynn Draisey, Brianna Grassi, and Nicholas Grassi, IV.

Rel graduated from Mechanicsburg High School as part of the class of 1968.  She retired from the Dauphin County Prison in Harrisburg, after nearly 20 years of service working as a mail clerk.  Rel enjoyed watching cooking shows on television and taking care of her animals that she loved dearly.  She will be most remembered for the love she showed to everybody and how she had the biggest heart in the world.

Rel’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Cremation was private.
