Loving Mother -
Rhea Nesbitt (Zies) Demma, 78, of Camp Hill , died suddenly and peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. She was born in Enola, Pennsylvania, on Friday, June 21, 1935, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Harrison Zies and Barbara Anne (Burns) Zies. Rhea was the widow of Anthony Michael Demma whom she married on May 31, 1958 and who died on June 22, 1975.
Rhea’s survivors include her loving children, Rhea Kathryn (Demma) Moreo and her husband Robert “Bob” John Moreo, Jr. of Mechanicsburg, Michael Anthony Demma of Camp Hill; her four grandchildren, AnnaMaria Moreo, Robert J. Moreo, III, Anthony Michael Demma, Timothy James Demma; her great-grandson, Brody Michael Demma; and her two sisters, Jenny Miller of Mechanicsburg, and Barbara Schiffer of Camp Hill.
Rhea graduated from Enola High School as part of the class of 1953. She has been a staple in her community for decades having lived in the same home and worked for two retail stores where her presence became as certain as sunrise. Rhea was a deeply loving mother, caring for her children their entire lives. Her highest concern was for their well-being. She will be deeply missed.
All are welcome to join Rhea’s family at her Gathering of Family and Friends on Monday, November 11, 2013, from 1:30 p.m. until the Time of Remembrance at 2:00 p.m. at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Burial will be private in Rolling Green Memorial Park in Camp Hill. Rhea’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Hi Life Diner , 4890 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17050, immediately following the Time of Remembrance.
