Richard "Denny" Dennis Leahy Jr

Richard “Denny” Dennis Leahy Jr, age 78, of Mechanicsburg died on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Denny was born on Saturday, October 13, 1946, in Harrisburg to the late Richard Dennis Leahy Sr and Mussette (Pope) Leahy. Denny’s survivors include his brother: David Leahy and his wife, Vicki, of Mechanicsburg.

Denny graduated from Mechanicsburg High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and was a lifetime member of the VFW post 3526 in New Cumberland. Denny retired from PennDOT in 2001, after years of service working in the highway department. He could be frequently found shooting pool or watching the races at William’s grove.

Denny’s family will be remembering his life privately. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA will be at the family’s convenience.
