Rita Mae (Jackson) Kitzmiller

Rita Mae (Jackson) Kitzmiller, age 78, of Carlisle, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018.  Rita was born on Wednesday, September 13, 1939 in Chalk Hill to the late John Paul Jackson and Zelda Mae (Rankin) Jackson.  Rita was the widow of Claude Gordon Kitzmiller, who died on April 27, 2012.  In addition to her parents and husband, Rita is preceded in death by her two brothers and two sisters.

Rita’s survivors include her three daughters: Rita “Vicky” Hoerner and her husband, Eric, Anita Clawson and her husband, John, Claudia Brewbaker and her husband, Neb; her two grandchildren: Tori Bouder and Mitch Brewbaker; her one great-grandchild on the way; her two brothers; her sister; and several nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to join Rita’s family at her graveside service on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 55 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003; with Celebrant George Spangler officiating.  Rita’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Funck’s Family Restaurant in Annville immediately following her service.  Cremation was private.
