Rita F. (Hyle) Lavallee

Rita F. (Hyle) Lavallee, 77, of Dillsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on November 10th with her loving family by her side. Rita was the loving wife of the late Richard A. Lavallee for 47 years. She was the proud mother of three children, two which preceded her in death, Rhonda Lavallee and Eric Lavallee. She is survived by her son Raymond Lavallee and his wife Debra, her granddaughters: Stacy Lavallee, Kristie and her husband Rob Davis, their two children, and Rachel and her husband Daniel Lyons. Rita was born in Topeka, KS, on May 24, 1938, to the belated Earl and Olive (Hitz) Hyle. Rita was the sixth of their nine children. Siblings passing before Rita are brother Dale, and sisters Donna and Margaret (Babe). Surviving siblings are brothers Eldon and Glen; sisters Evelyn, Lois, and Carol.

Rita and Richard were married in Topeka, KS, while Richard was enlisted in US Air Force. Shortly before Richard’s enlistment ended they moved to Bellingham, MA where they spent 38 years before relocating to Uxbridge, MA for 9 years. After the death of Richard, Rita relocated to Dillsburg, PA to be near her son and his family. Rita was much loved and will be sadly missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery Chapel, Wrentham Road, Bellingham, MA at 12:30pm on December 11, 2015, for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in memory of Rita F. Lavallee to a charity of your choice.
