His career with Bell of Pa. culminated as a supervisor in upper level management.

Bob had a long and glorious retirement. He spent many years navigating his sailboat throughout the Chesapeake Bay. Bob was also an expert downhill skier. His love for skiing led him to many worldwide ski destinations. When Bob wasn't sailing or skiing, he enjoyed riding his bike on railtrails and on the back roads of Mechanicsburg. He also enjoyed working out regularly at a local gym until the age of 93.

Bob was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Shiremanstown, and a member of the Mechanicsburg Club. Bob was also a 32nd Degree Mason and was awarded the 60 year Masonic Service pin this year.
