Robert Edward Bromley Jr.

Robert “Bob” Edward Bromley. Jr., age 72, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Beach Haven West, NJ, was called to heaven on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 with his loving family by his side.  Bob was born on Saturday, October 21, 1950, in Philadelphia to the late Robert Edward Bromley, Sr. and Emma Helen (Pearson) Bromley. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Helen (Bromley) Miller.

Bob’s survivors include his son: Robert Edward Bromley III and his fiancé, Danielle Monique Medina, of Tulare, CA; his granddaughter: Annabelle Lola Bromley; his step daughter, Pamela Wallis, of Loris, SC; his brother: Raymond Frederick Bromley and his wife, Roxane, of Mechanicsburg; and his nieces and nephews: Emma Marguerite Bromley; Kimberly Ann Metzger and Wade Robert Miller.

Bob graduated from Pemberton Township High School as part of the class of 1969.  He was a member of Calvary Chapel Harrisburg – West Shore in Camp Hill.  Bob owned and operated Bob’s Quality Meats in Browns Mills, NJ, and also B & J Distributors a distributer of delicious pies.  He also worked at Lehman Motors Volvo of Mechanicsburg and York as a facilities manager.   Bob was a man of many talents who could fix just about anything.   He enjoyed spending time on the water in his boat.  One of Bob’s favorite hobbies was fishing, especially deep sea fishing on his boat at the New Jersey shore.

All are welcome to join Bob’s family at his visitation on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Harrisburg-West Shore, 702 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, PA  17011 with Pastor Matthew VanderVen officiating.  Bob’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Lehman Motors Volvo, 6281 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA  17050 immediately following the service.  Cremation was private.
