Robert Andrew Plessinger

Robert Andrew Plessinger, age 55, of Dunnellon, FL, and formerly of New York City, Miami, and Dallas, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021.  Robert was born on Friday, February 4, 1966, in Martinsburg, WV to Robert Plessinger and Nancy (Steffen) Plessinger.  Robert is preceded in death by his faithful canine, Ripley.

Robert’s survivors include his partner of 17 years, Brian Wilk; his parents, Robert and Nancy Plessinger; his two brothers: Eric Plessinger and wife, Alison and Matt Plessinger and wife, Tara; and his beloved canine companion, Nash.

Robert graduated from Shippensburg University and worked as real estate agent for seven years.  He enjoyed scuba diving and traveling internationally.  Robert also liked both science fiction movies and novels.

All are welcome to join Robert’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until time of remembrance at 11:30 a.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Everyone is then invited for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory), immediately following.  Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of our parking lots.
