Robert “Bob” Charles Egley

Robert “Bob” Charles Egley, age 78, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021.  Bob was born on Thursday, September 3, 1942 in Newport News, VA to the late Henry Dean Egley and Dorothy Jean (Williamson) Egley.

Bob’s survivors include his wife of 33 years, Audrey Ellen (Green) Egley; his five children: Jodie Browne and husband, Curtis, of Sherman, CT, Kelly Wharton and husband, Barry, Mechanicsburg, PA, Lizbeth Lerew of Mechanicsburg, PA, Ashley Kissel of New Cumberland, PA, Andrew Wood and wife, Amy, of Emigsville, PA; his eight grandchildren: Ryan Logan, Kylie Emory, Curtis Browne, Jr., Shayne Wharton, Regan Wharton, Mirka Vasquez, Church Clausi, Owen Wood; his four great-grandchildren: Anthony, Madison, Samantha, Alex; his two siblings: Dean Egley and wife, Christy, of Saegertown, PA, Kris Egley-Poux and husband, Tim, of Saegertown, PA; his faithful canine pal, Harper Rose; and his beloved feline companion, Piper.

A private service will be held at the convenience of Bob’s family at his church.  Cremation was private.
