Bob’s survivors include his two children: Susan Kay St. John and her husband, Mike, of Mifflintown, Robert “Bobby” William Elliott and his wife, Kimmie, of Duncannon; his two grandchildren: Ethan Gill of Carlisle, Rachel Gill of East Berlin; his three siblings: William “Bill” Elliott of Johnstown, James “Jim” Elliott and his wife, Kay, of Plano, TX, Joanne Pollice and her husband, Frank, of New City, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Bob graduated from Johnstown High School as part of the class of 1956 and served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958.  He retired from Kelly Systems, Inc. in Harrisburg, after nearly 40 years of service working as a drywall finisher.  Bob was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg since 1961.  He was a dedicated and hardworking man; Bob did everything with his family in mind.  Over many years, Bob and his wife warmly welcomed many children into their home as foster parents.  He was a genuine person and always followed through on his promises.
