He then enlisted in the Army National Guard and served as a military police officer. Bob continued to serve in the Air National Guard with the 201 Red Horse Squadron at Fort Indiantown Gap until retiring in 2002. He followed in the footsteps of his ancestors and led a legacy of military service. Both of Bob’s sons, Brian and Chad, and some of his grandchildren have continued this family legacy, of which Bob was very proud of.
He retired from SCI Camp Hill, after 23 years of service working as a corrections officer and records specialist. Bob, along with his “brothers”, promoted the greater good of the community and honoring his fellow Marines as a member of the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Marine Corps League Honor Guard. For about 10 years, Bob and his wife, Deborah, ran their company, Three Dogs Barking, LLC, which made frozen treats for dogs such as, Kody Kups. Bob was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Berlin. He was also a member of VFW South Mountain Post 6771, American Legion Post 26, and Eureka - West Shore Lodge No. 302.
