Robyn (Headley) Brunson
Generous & Kind to Everyone -
Robyn (Headley) Brunson, age 63, of Camp Hill, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018. Robyn was born on Sunday, October 31, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Edward Blair Headley and LaVonne Suzanne (Swingley) Headley. In addition to her parents, Robyn is preceded in death by her favorite and special canine companion, Sammie.
Robyn’s survivors include three sons: Austin Brunson of Philadelphia, Wes Brunson and his wife, Chandria Lynch, and their son, Augustus, of Mechanicsburg, Alex Brunson and his partner, Olivia Neavling, of Mechanicsburg; her three siblings: David Headley, Tina Miskus, Pamela Starkey; the father of their children, Stephen “Steve” Call Brunson of Indianapolis; her beloved canine, Sadie; and several nieces and nephews.
Robyn graduated from Greenhills High School as part of the class of 1972 and from Marshall University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978 and a Master of Science degree in 1979. She worked for the federal government for many years as an industrial hygienist. Robyn enjoyed traveling all over the world with her sister, Tina. The two visited China, Czechoslovakia, Greece, and Turkey together. She loved animals with all of her heart. Robyn always made sure that an animal in need always had a friend in her rescue pets. She was genuinely interested in the lives of her sons; Robyn was always concerned about and thinking of them. Nothing could compare to the enormous sense of pride she felt of her kids’ achievements and she invested in their lives. Robyn was generous and kind to everyone she met. When she gave gifts, they constantly had a deep meaning that was symbolic and thoughtful.
