Roger Davis Kreps
Constant Companion -
Roger Davis Kreps, 58, of Enola , died at home and with his loving wife by his side on Friday, August 9, 2013, after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born in Altoona, on Friday, April 1, 1955 son of the late Maurice Weast Kreps and Elma (Thomas) Eunice Kreps. Roger was the husband of Debbie (Woodward) Kreps whom he married on January 21, 1978 and who survives him. Roger’s survivors also include his loving daughter, Heather Kreps Luta of Mechanicsburg; and his two granddaughters, Gwendolyn and Madeline.
Roger graduated from Central Dauphin East High School as part of the class of 1973 after which he attended Lycoming College in Williamsport. He retired in 2013 from TE Connectivity (formerly Tyco ) in Middletown as part of their PIC Team . Roger loved his wife and never tired of having her by his side. In fact, he was her constant companion and the one who could always make her laugh. He greatly enjoyed his daughter and two beautiful granddaughters. Roger attended every event his daughter, Heather, participated in and he has the t-shirts to prove it. His friends were a huge part of Roger’s life and he forever treasured those relationships. Roger enjoyed being a Philadelphia Eagles Fan , antiquing, motorcycles, the outdoors and especially the family cabin in Pine Grove , his family vacations to Stone Harbor , evenings spent on his deck and under the awning with his wife, and avoiding vegetables at all costs. Above all, he was a particular and detailed man who freely shared his ideas of how things should be done with those within hearing.
