Romaine “Mainey” Elizabeth (Weber) Price, 93, of Mechanicsburg , died peacefully at Messiah Village on Monday, November 18, 2013. She was born in Harrisburg, PA, on Wednesday, June 2, 1920, daughter of the late Galen D. Weber and Lottie Irene (May) Weber. Romaine was the widow of Joseph Kenneth Price, Sr. whom she married on August 3, 1950, and who died on February 27, 1996.
Romaine’s survivors include her loving children, Beverly “Bev” Ann Price of Mechanicsburg, Joseph Kenneth Price, Jr. and his wife Roxanne of Mechanicsburg; her two grandchildren, Kenneth L. Price and Diana Elizabeth Lohman; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Among those preceding Romaine in death are her nine brothers and sisters.
Romaine loved the color pink and enjoyed strawberry ice cream and pumpkin pie. She had an incredibly beautiful and memorable smile and was one of the most family oriented people you could ever meet. She was easy to speak with about any topic and she was always there for her family. Simple and loving are how Romaine’s family will always remember her.
A private gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013, from 1:45 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, with Celebrant Mary Medkeff-Rose officiating. Interment in Rolling Green Memorial Park in Camp Hill will immediately follow the service. Cremation was private.
