Russell was employed as a Shift Leader at Starbucks in Harrisburg and was recently employed as a Teacher/Mentor with Arizona State University and tutored students with their Writing classes.  Russell’s Scripture for life is found in the Book of Romans, “How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed?  And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have not heard?  And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Rom 10:14).  Russell’s reply was, “Here I am, send me!”  Russell’s circle of life and God’s light that shined through him is far-reaching and his message and pure love of God have touched countless people, in countless ways - from Buna, Texas, to Tampa, FL, to Rochester. NY, and Harrisburg, PA, to Fiji, Peru, Haiti, India, and Turkey - from sea to shining sea, from church to church, God’s sanctuary was Russell’s home. Russell’s gift was his undeniable and unmatched wisdom and knowledge of God’s Word.  Russ was also gifted with his zest for life, an enigmatic personality and contagious laugh was generously shared with of all God’s children; when he walked in a room everyone knew he was there and no one was a stranger to Russell.
