Loving Mother and Grandmother -
Sandra Marie (Korb) Lubrani, age 77, of Mechanicsburg, PA, went home on Monday, May 2, 2016. Sandra was born on Wednesday, August 31, 1938, in Traverse City, MI to the late Adolf Korb and Frances (Mikowski) Korb. Sandra was the widow of Joseph Anthony Lubrani, Jr., who died on March 19, 1989. In addition to her parents and husband, Sandra is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Korb; and her nephew, Robert Korb, Jr.
Sandra’s survivors include her daughter, Laura Heffelfinger, and her husband, Samuel, Jr., of Mechanicsburg; her grandson, Joseph “Joe” Heffelfinger of Mechanicsburg; her two siblings: Gerald Korb and his wife, Wanda, and Dee Evans and her husband, Neal, all of Traverse City, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg. She enjoyed gambling, especially cards and pull tickets, and was always eager to take a gambling trip. She shared her love of poker with her grandson, Joe, who she taught to play the game. She loved going to yard sales, eating her “sweets,” drinking coffee, and spending time with her family in Michigan.
Sandra’s family will be remembering her life privately. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Mechanicsburg will be at the family’s convenience. Cremation was private.
