Sandra B. Wolfgang
Sandra B. Wolfgang, 57, of Mechanicsburg , who was recently married and would like to be remembered as Sandy Lynn Lincoln by her family and friends, died peacefully at home and with her loving husband by her side on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Sandy was born on Saturday, March 9, 1957 in Meadville, PA.
Sandy was a licensed psychologist who devoted her life to helping people with, in Sandy’s words, “miles of bad road behind them.” She was proud to be able to identify people that, with help, could lead productive lives in the future. To that end, Sandy spent 22 years working for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections as a Licensed Psychologist Manager and years more in private practice, most recently at Beacon Psychological Services in Camp Hill. In her private time, she enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail, kayaking, cooking, Scrabble, western movies, and shopping for nice clothes. Sandy discovered the thrill of riding on a motorcycle and stopping to pick raspberries, and she forever loved her pets, especially Oma. Sandy’s caring spirit will live on in all of the hearts she touched and in all of the lives she helped to change for the better.
All are welcome to join Sandy’s family and friends at her time of remembrance on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, starting at 3:00 p.m. at Willow Mill Park on Willow Mill Park Road in Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Celebrant George Spangler will be officiating with many of Sandy’s friends speaking, singing, and sharing their love for Sandy. Please feel free to arrive at the park between 2:30 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. and please wear warm clothing befitting the cold temperatures that are expected for this outdoor service. All of Sandy’s family and friends are invited to gather for Sandy’s celebration of life reception which will begin around 4:00 p.m. at Appalachian Brewing Company , 6462 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Cremation was private.
