Sara Olivia (Manmiller) Musser, age 100, of Newville, PA , formerly of Mechanicsburg and Laureldale, PA , died at Green Ridge Village on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Sara was born on Saturday, January 9, 1915, in Fleetwood, PA to the late John N. and Mary E. (Gundry) Manmiller. Sara was the widow of Lloyd A. Musser, whom she married on November 29, 1934, and who died on December 3, 1997. In addition to her parents and husband, Sara is preceded in death by her two sisters: Miriam R. (Manmiller) Dreibelbis and Clara G. (Manmiller) Hart.
S ara’s survivors include her two sons: Jan A. Musser and his wife, Angelyn A. (Moyer) Musser, of Reading; Reverend Steven J. Musser and his wife, Georgette (Wood) Musser, of Mechanicsburg; her five grandchildren: Todd A. Musser of Myrtle Beach, SC; Scott D. Musser; Jill A. (Musser) Yoder, both of Reading; Jennifer L. (Musser) Thomblison of Burlington, Ontario, Canada; Rebecca L. (Musser) Fair of Mechanicsburg; and her ten great-grandchildren.
Sara was a member of West Shore Evangelical Free Church in Mechanicsburg. She loved the Lord and had a strong belief in her faith. Sara was a prayer warrior who spent countless hours praying for others. She was a warm and inviting person who loved spending time with her family.
All are welcome to join Sara’s family at her graveside service on Friday, September 18, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at Fleetwood Cemetery , 200 East Main Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522; with Reverend Steven Musser officiating.
