Scott Michael Kramer, 43, of York , and formerly of Dillsburg , died at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, York, on Wednesday, April 10, 2013.  He was born in Camp Hill, on Tuesday, August 26, 1969, son of Thomas Edward Kramer and Jeannine Louise Shope Strohecker.

Scott’s survivors include his loving mother, Jeannine and her husband Ralph of Dillsburg; his loving father, Thomas and his wife Shirl of Carlisle; his sister, Sherry Davis and her husband Christopher of Laughlintown, and their children, Alex and Molly; three step-brothers, Russell Strohecker and his wife Shana of Carlisle, Jeff Jumper and his wife Nada of FL, Jason Jumper of New Cumberland; and several step-nieces and nephews. Among those preceding Scott in death is his step-brother, Jason Strohecker.

Scott graduated from Capital Area Intermediate School at Cedar Run as part of the class of 1989.  He was an employee of Shadowfax Corporation in York for over 15 years.  Scott earned gold medals in wheel chair events and softball throwing in the local and state Special Olympics . He enjoyed fishing and especially spending time as a youth at Camp Harmony Hall for ten days every summer. Scott was fond of saying “Don’t worry Be happy” and giving lots of hugs and kisses.

All are welcome to join Scott’s family at his viewing on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 9:30 to until time of service at 10:30 at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, with Celebrant Mary Medkeff-Rose officiating.  Burial will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens in Carlisle.

The family suggests memorial contributions to National Kidney Foundation, 111 South Independence Mall East, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
