Scott “Scooter” Knox Lehman

Scott Knox Lehman, 27, of Dillsburg died Saturday, December 24, 2011, at Harrisburg Hospital.  He was born in Camp Hill on June 30, 1984, son of  Dean Leroy and Katharine “Sammi” Knox (Failor) Lehman of Dillsburg who survive him.

Scott graduated from Northern High School as part of the class of 2003.  He considered Daybreak Church to be his home church.  Scott was an extremely creative and charismatic person.  He loved writing music and poetry.  Scott was very athletic, excelling in wrestling and soccer.  He was very resourceful, loved nature and, above all, Scott loved his family.

Scott’s survivors in addition to his parents include his siblings: Shane Lehman and wife Katie of York; Samantha Sheppard and husband Ben of York; Seth Lehman and wife Savannah of Camp Hill; two nieces Aubrey and Emily Sheppard; a nephew Evan Lehman; and paternal grandmother Rhoda (Lehman) Miller of Dillsburg.

All are welcome to join Scott’s family at his viewing on Thursday, December 29, 2011, from 7:00 to 9:00 at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA, 17055, (717) 766-3421, www.Myers-Buhrig.com and Friday from 10:00 until the time of services at 11:00 at Daybreak Church , Mechanicsburg with Pastor Joel Smith officiating.

Burial will immediately follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Churchtown. Scott’s family invites everyone to join them for a Time of Food and Fellowship at his church on Friday following the burial.
