Sharon Elizabeth (Cunneen) Dwyer, age 68, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at home on Friday, March 6, 2020.  Sharon was born on Sunday, November 4, 1951 in Meriden, CT to the late Elizabeth “Betty” (White) Cunneen and Robert Cunneen, Sr.

Sharon’s survivors include her two children: Erin Dwyer of Harrisburg and Matthew Dwyer of San Francisco, CA; her one granddaughter; and her two brothers: Robert “Robbie” Cunneen, Jr. and Mark Cunneen; and two nephews.

Sharon’s children remember her as many things: a devoted mother; a beloved daughter and sister; a loyal friend; a pioneer and fierce competitor in women’s horseshoes; and a dynamic force in the kitchen.  Sharon’s biggest pleasures in life were spending time with her kids, basking in the sun on the beach, and opening her home for regular dinner parties and gatherings with friends and family.  She will be missed.  The memories Sharon leaves behind remain alive through family and friends.

Sharon’s open house gathering of family and friends is being rescheduled and will be announced when the new date and time has been finalized   Cremation was private.
