Sharon’s survivors include her husband of 46 years, Lester “Skip” Norwood Straub, Jr.; her children: Ryan Michael Straub of Carlisle, Vanessa LeAnn Chrisemer and husband, Bryan, of Carlisle; her precious grandson: Liam Daniel Chrisemer; her three brothers: Raymond Wilson and wife, Billie Jean, of Melbourne, FL; James Wilson of New York, NY; and Kevin Wilson and wife, Tracy, of Cave Creek, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon graduated from Susquenita High School.  She retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in 1979; and from Giant Food Stores, LLC in Carlisle, after many years of service working as a data processor in 2014.  Sharon was a long-time member of Camp Hill Church of God in Camp Hill and was currently attending Turning Point Church of Mechanicsburg.  Sharon loved to travel; and enjoyed going to the beaches in Delaware and Maryland and on day trips to Lancaster. The Great Smoky Mountains were her favorite place to visit.  Sharon enjoyed gathering with friends and family and interacting with friends on social media.  She was the family photographer and snapped many pictures that her family treasures.  Sharon cherished the time that she spent with family; going out to dinner, picnics or just hanging out.  Her grandson, Liam, was her constant companion and the light of her life.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
