Sharon Ileen Thorpe

Sharon Ileen Thorpe, age 67, of Harrisburg, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 10, 2019.  Sharon was born on Monday, March 19, 1951 in Harrisburg to the late Robert Forrest Thorpe, Sr. and Anna Mae (Walker) Thorpe Besser.  In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her brothers:  Donald Lee Thorpe and Robert Forrest Thorpe, Jr.

Sharon’s survivors include her brother, James Ernest Thorpe of Centerville, TN; her sister, Barbara Ann Martz and her husband, John, of Loudon, TN; and her several nieces and nephews.

Sharon’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Interment will be at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.
