Stephen “Steve” Williams, age 72, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Easton, died on Monday, March 17, 2025. Steve was born on Sunday, May 4, 1952 in Allentown to the late Mildred Williams. In addition to his mother, Steve is preceded in death by his brother: William Williams.
Steve’s survivors include his wife of 53 years, Harolyn Sue (Young) Williams; his son: Stephen Williams and wife Amy, of Mechanicsburg; his grandson: Tyler Williams of Mechanicsburg; his four siblings: Milton “Reds” Williams and wife Cecile, Joseph Vermeulen, Elizabeth “Jane” Vasquez, Ruth Frey and several nieces and nephews.
Steve graduated from Easton High School as part of the class of 1970 and from Allentown University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He proudly served his country by serving in the United States Army. Steve retired from Easton Hospital after many years of service working as a server administrator. He played an active role in cub scouts and boy scouts, sharing the experience with his son while serving as cub master and scout master. Traveling with his wife brought him joy. He was a devoted fan of University of Southern California football. Stephen cherished his relationship with his grandson, Tyler. He will dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
