Stewart A. Wise, 88, of Camp Hill , died at ManorCare Health Service in Camp Hill on Monday, December 30, 2013. He was born in Tower City on Saturday, November 28, 1925, son of the late William Michael Wise and Nora Christiana (Corsnitz) Wise.  Stewart was the husband of Love Virginia (Sheesley) Wise whom he married on January 25, 1947.

Stewart’s survivors include his loving wife of almost 67 years, Love; his children, Dawn Daniels and her husband Mike of Dallastown, Gayetta Hough and her husband Edwin of Camp Hill, Randy Wise of Mechanicsburg, Shawn Hocker and her husband Jeff of Camp Hill, Tana Wise of Camp Hill, Jodi Yohn and her husband Dennis of Mechanicsburg, Angela Barrett and her husband Shawn of Camp Hill; his grandchildren, Michael, Scott, Nicole, Teil, Kaia, Dustin, Jamie, Tegan, Jeffrey, Taryn, Joden, Anthony, Blade; his great-grandchildren, Daniele, Travis, Zachary, Damien, Jarex, Alicia, Joseph, Helena, Inga, Gianna, Camila, Austin, Jordan, Cody, Blaze, Storm, Bella, Calli; his great-great granddaughter, LeaBell; and his siblings, Ralph Scheib, John Scheib, Ruth Graff, and June Kaiser.  Among those preceding Stewart in death are several brothers and sisters.

Stewart graduated from Elizabethville High School as part of the class of 1943. He retired from Brawley Distributing in Lewisberry in 1990 working as a parts manager. Stewart was a US Navy WWII Veteran . He was a member of the American Legion Post 109 in Mechanicsburg.  Stewart could fix anything and especially loved fixing things for his family. His children fondly remember calling Dad and “before long whatever was broken was fixed”.

Cremation and services will be private and at the family’s convenience.
