Susan Marie Sharbaugh, age 54, of Mechanicsburg , died at Holy Spirit Hospital on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Born in Allison Park, on Monday, February 15, 1960, she was the daughter of Patricia Louise (Price) Prendergast and the late Richard Eugene Sharbaugh, Jr.
Susan’s survivors include her mother Patricia of Mechanicsburg; her sister, Nancie Richards of Los Angeles; nieces and nephews, Kristi Sharbaugh, Tricia Campbell, John Sharbaugh, Erin McCartin, Diana Sharbaugh, Julie Sharbaugh, Morgan Tanner, Justin Tanner and Zack Tanner; and her dog Beau. Among those preceding Susan in death are her brothers, Richard D. Sharbaugh and Eric M. Sharbaugh.
Susan graduated from Cedar Cliff High School as part of the class of 1978. She was an extremely creative and athletic woman. Susan loved antiquing, fashion design, sewing, and refinishing furniture. She was also known for her irreverent sense of humor.
Cremation and services will be private and at the family’s convenience. The family suggests memorial contributions to Bethesda Mission , 611 Reilly Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102.
