Loved Her Grandchildren -
Terri Lynn (Cathell) Schaum, age 53, of Mechanicsburg , and formerly of Salisbury, MD , died at home and surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Terri was born on Thursday, July 14, 1960 in Salisbury, MD to the late Ralph Edwin Cathell and Rada Virginia (Davis) Cathell.
Terri’s survivors include her companion of 18 years, Ronald “Ron” Windsor; her children, David A. Messick, Jr. of Mechanicsburg and his fiancé Melissa Smith of York, Michelle L. Mason of DE, Benjamin J. Schaum and his fiancé Jazmyne Smialek of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Matthew Hooker, Zachary Mason, Sydnee Mason, Tristan Schaum; her siblings, Edward Cathell of Altoona, Donna Cathell of DE, Victoria Strohm of Etters; and several nieces and nephews
Terri was an employee with Delta Dental in Mechanicsburg and previously worked for Webcraft Inserts in Salisbury, MD. She was a very loving woman whose greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Terri liked to dance and she enjoyed the beach, especially staying in the ocean for hours with her daughter. She was the kind of woman who would do anything for anybody.
All are welcome to join Terri’s family at a Gathering of Family and Friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Cremation will be private and at the family’s convenience. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in New Hope Cemetery , Salisbury, MD.
