Tina Marie (Watts) Derr, age 58, of Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019.  Tina was born on Saturday, March 11, 1961 in Mechanicsburg to Charles Edwin Watts and the late Sarah Marie (Snyder) Watts.

Tina’s survivors include her husband of 32 years, Ronald “Ron” Derr, Jr.; her daughter, Micailyn “Mic” Marie Derr and her boyfriend, Zak, of Dillsburg; her father, Charles Watts of Dillsburg; her close friend, Stephen Davis of Camp Hill; her darling feline buddies: LaBelle, Whitney, Leona, Nikki; her precious canine pal, Bullet; and her beloved parrot, Chester.

Tina graduated from Northern High School as part of the class of 1979.  She worked for Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouses in Mechanicsburg and then Hills Department Store.  Tina also worked at Book of the Month Club, Williams-Sonoma, L.B. Smith, and as a private caregiver.  She was a super human being as she was providing care and always putting others first.  As a loving and caring person, Tina never gave anything less than 100% of herself.  She loved flowers and attending flower shows at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA as well as making her own arrangements.  Tina also loved animals and going to the PA Farm show and zoos; she most cherished the time spent with her beloved cats.  She enjoyed watching a beautiful sunset and going to the beach, where she could walk along the ocean and put her feet in the sand.

All are welcome to join Tina’s family at her gathering of family and friends open house on Thursday, September 5, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until time of closing ceremony at 5:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Interment in Mechanicsburg Cemetery will be private and at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.
