Travis T. Beemer, age 28, of Camp Hill, was taken from his family far too soon when he passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 in Camp Hill. Travis was born on Thursday, May 4, 1989 in Harrisburg to Timothy Gregory Beemer and Suzette (Shumaker) Ojea. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Louis Beemer.
Travis’s survivors include his loving mother, Suzette Ojea and her husband, Dale, of Camp Hill; his father, Tim Beemer and his fiancé, Jeannie, of Georgia; his brother, Lance Beemer and his fiancé, Emily Bockelcamp, of Lewisberry; his sister, Savannah Beemer of Wormleysburg; his grandparents, Kenneth and Violet Shumaker of Mechanicsburg; his two uncles: Rick Simons of Georgia, Kirk Shumaker and his wife, Jennifer, of Enola; his aunt, Susie Simmons of Georgia; his five cousins: Blake, Kara, Amy, Kathern, Slate; his many friends; and his faithful canine companion, Carlos.
Travis graduated from Cedar Cliff High School as part of the class of 2008. He was an avid hiker and his passion for the outdoors began at a young age. Travis shared and enjoyed this part of his life with his family and many friends. He held a deep appreciation for his family’s recipes and his love for foods of others cultures was endless. Travis liked to travel and he had many friends from coast to coast.
Travis’s family will be remembering his life privately. Cremation was private.
