Vicki Ann Pendleton

Vicki Ann (Kierstead) Pendleton, age 79, of Carlisle, died on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Vicki was born on Wednesday, December 8, 1943, in Lebanon, NH to the late Douglas Matthew Kierstead and Marjorie H. (Tucker) Kierstead. Vicki was the widow of James "Jim" Robert Pendleton Sr, whom she married on August 7, 1965, and who died on July 28, 2021. In addition to her parents and husband, Vicki is preceded in death by her two children: Adam Douglas and Sandra Lee; and her brother, James Douglas Kierstead.  

Vicki's survivors include her son, James "Jim" Robert Pendleton Jr and his wife, Stephanie (Maticic) of Mechanicsburg; and her two granddaughters: Avery and Addison Pendleton of Mechanicsburg. Vicki graduated from Etna High School in 1961, and from the University of Pittsburgh of Johnstown in 2002 with a master's degree in nursing. Vicki worked for Lee Hospital and later Conemaugh Health Systems as a flight nurse.

Vicki retired to Florida where she enjoyed spending time at the beach and fishing in the ocean. She also enjoyed the occasional cocktail with her husband Jim, and their friends and neighbors. She will be dearly missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.

Vicki's family will be remembering her life privately. Interment will be at the family's convenience. Cremation was private.
