Victor "Vic" George Naseef

Victor George Naseef, age 86, died on Sunday, October 15, 2023.  Vic was born on Friday, December 11, 1936, in Charleston, WV to the late Charles Naseef and Victoria (Abdella) Naseef.  In addition to his parents, Vic is preceded in death by his two brothers: Charles Naseef and Phillip Naseef.  He was married to his sweetheart Donna Jo (Davis) Naseef for 62 years.

Victor was a very kind man who was loved by all who knew him.  He quietly and faithfully loved his family well.  He was a good provider, very generous and always willing to lend a hand to those in need.  He often served behind the scenes and blessed many without recognition.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. 

Before finishing his college degree, Vic was a paid firefighter and also owned a restaurant with his brother Phil.  After returning to finish his degree at Morris Harvey University, he was hired by the Federal Department of Health and Human Services as an auditor.  This position made up the bulk of his career, taking him from Washington, DC, back to Charleston, WV and then on to Philadelphia, PA.  He lived in West Chester, PA from 1978 until just a year ago when he moved to Mechanicsburg, PA. 

Vic was very involved at Goshen Baptist Church in West Chester, PA.  He was an elder, taught Sunday school and was a youth leader.  After retiring from his job for the federal government, he worked part-time at the church’s nursery school as their bookkeeper.

Vic loved to run, play tennis and go to the YMCA to exercise regularly.  He also loved his dogs over the years.  He was a very loyal brother and friend. He was also a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, the Phillies and the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Vic’s survivors include his wife, Donna Jo (Davis) Naseef; his two children: Michael Victor Naseef and his wife, Kristen, of Exton, Elizabeth “Beth” Naseef Truitt and her husband, David, of Mechanicsburg; his four grandchildren: John Truitt and his wife Kylie, Nicholas Naseef, Josiah Truitt and Lauren Naseef; his great grandson: Calvin Truitt; his brother: Richard Naseef and his wife, Wilma, of South Charleston, WV, and his sister-in-law Sydney of Scott Depot, WV.

Victor’s family will be having a private family service.
