Viengkhoune Venevongsa

Viengkhoune Venevongsa, age 69, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, November 29, 2014. He was born on Oct 8, 1945 in Laos and emigrated to the PA in the 1980’s.

When he was not out fishing or traveling to see pride and joys…his grandchildren.  Viengkhoune was a creature of simple comforts.  He could often be found at home watching Thai TV or football, tending to his cherished plants in the garden or sitting at the kitchen table enjoying a home- cooked Laotian meal with his family.

He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Sayzane “Dzan” Noimany, devoted father to Ty (wife - Nina), Noi and Lynn and adored by his grandchildren: Brandon and Annaliese and is also survived by 6 siblings and a large extended family located in Laos, Canada, and France.

All are welcome to join Viengkhoune’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Saturday, December 20, 2014, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Cremation will be private and at the family’s convenience.  V iengkhoune’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Warm Heart’s Café, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, following the services.
