Walter Harold Fry, Jr., age 82, of New Cumberland , passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Golden Living Center - West Shore. He was the son of the late Walter H. Fry and Helen (Hippensteel) Fry.

Walter graduated from Lemoyne High School and from Lebanon Valley College , after which he served with the United States Army . Walter was a certified public accountant, owning and operating an accounting practice in Camp Hill.  He served as president of the West Shore Rotary Club, and was a member of the West Shore Elks Lodge, West Shore Chamber of Commerce, Scottish Rite Consistory, and the West Shore Country Club.  Walter moved to Sun City, FL to enjoy the weather and his golf game.  He eventually moved back home to Pennsylvania and his family, while still continuing his golf game.

Walter is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Carolyn (Acker) Fry; his daughter, Cynthia Louise Fry; his son, Kenneth Walter Fry, and wife, Susan; and grandchildren:  Michael Fry, Andrew Fry, and Paul Fry.

A private ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014; the day before Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.  Walter and his father both proudly served their military tours of duty in Hawaii.
