William Edward Kovach, age 73, of Enola, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024 with family by his side. He was born on July 14, 1951 in Natrona Heights, PA and was the son of the late Nicholas William and Mary Ellen (Wheeler) Kovach.
Bill was a graduate of Natrona Heights High School and then moved to Lancaster, PA to attend Millersville University and Franklin & Marshall. It was in Lancaster where he met his future wife, Mary Jean (Cybulski). They were married on October 22, 1983 at Saint Mary’s Częstochowa in Nanticoke, PA.
Bill was President of Riverside Hearing Services where he served the hard of hearing for more than 20 years throughout Central Pennsylvania. In retirement, Bill enjoyed woodworking, going to his vacation home at the beach, and spending time with his grandkids. He also regularly visited Colonial Williamsburg and attended Penn State football games where he and Mary have been season ticket holders since 2001. Bill was a member of Saint Katharine Drexel parish.
Bill was preceded in death by daughter Katherine Mary Kovach. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jean; daughter Kristina Leigh (Kovach) Montgomery and her husband Donald of Enola, PA; daughter Rachel Nicole Kovach of Washington, D.C.; and two grandchildren, Logan Andrews Montgomery and Liam Alexander Montgomery.
The family will hold a private Mass of Christian Burial followed by Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at their convenience.
