Beloved Husband, Father and Pap Pap -

William “Bill” Roland Plummer, age 79, of Mechanicsburg passed away at home on Sunday, June 6, 2021.  Bill was born on Thursday, December 4, 1941, in Shamokin to the late Roland Urias Plummer and Helen (Freedline) Plummer.

Bill’s survivors include his wife of nearly 54 years, Patricia Ann (Zeiders) Plummer; his two children: Todd William Plummer and wife, Stephanie, of Palmyra, Jennifer Ann Sunday and husband, William, of Camp Hill; his five grandsons: Iain Sunday, Jeremy Plummer, Justin Plummer, Trent Sunday, and Cameron Sunday; his sister: Janet Masterman of Alpharetta, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill graduated from Coal Township High School as part of the class of 1959.  He proudly served in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman.  Bill retired from General Accident Insurance Company after 30 years of service as a claims manager and later worked part time for Keystone Insurers Group.  He adored his family and cherished the many hours spent with his grandsons on his boat, fishing and crabbing in Delaware.

All are welcome to join Bill’s family at his celebration of life on Monday, June 14, 2021, from beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Peter Lutheran Church, 130 Nittany Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 with Reverend Alex Martini officiating.  Bill’s family invites everyone to join them for a reception and greeting of guests immediately following the service. Private interment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill, where military honors will be presented by the Cumberland County Honor Guard.  Cremation was private.
