William “Bill” Harrison Kreiner, Sr.

Dedicated Family Man -

William “Bill” Harrison Kreiner, Sr., age 64, of Harrisburg, passed away at home on Thursday, April 4, 2019.  Bill was born on Friday, April 1, 1955 in Harrisburg to the late Paul Leroy Kreiner, Sr. and Ellen Rae (Wiebner) Ramer.  In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Kreiner; and his two sisters: Lynn Sue Waldo and Bonnie Kay Wiser.

Bill’s survivors include his wife of 41 years, Carol Ann (Kozenskie) Kreiner; his three sons: Eugene B. Kozenskie, William P. Funk, William H. Kreiner, Jr., all of Harrisburg; his two grandchildren: Brittany N. Logan of Hummelstown, Phoenix D. Kreiner of Harrisburg; his great-grandson, Remington Scott Rennar of Hummelstown; his two brothers: Paul L. Kreiner, Jr. of Mechanicsburg, Donald E. Kreiner of Virginia Beach, VA; his four sisters: Rosemarie Bertig of Tower City, Peggy Foltz, Anna Kreiner, Paula White, all of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill retired from the United States House of Representatives in Harrisburg, after 35 years of service working as a store room clerk.  He was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  Bill will always be missed and remembered for the outstanding things he did with his family and all the times he spent with them.

All are welcome to join Bill’s family at his graveside service on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 55 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003, where military honors will be presented.  Cremation was private.
