William “Bill” Lewis Rodgers

William “Bill” Lewis Rodgers, age 91, of South Carolina, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, died at Calhoun Convalescent Center in St. Matthews, South Carolina on Friday, December 28, 2018.  Bill was born on Thursday, August 11, 1927 in Mechanicsburg, PA to the late Clair Kemble Rodgers and Catherine Elizabeth (Liggett) Rodgers.

Bill was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Sumter, South Carolina. He was a retired bookkeeper and accountant.  Bill is survived by his dear friend and caregiver, Cathy Jenkins of Cameron, South Carolina.

All are welcome to join Bill’s family and friends at his graveside service and burial on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, starting at 3:00 p.m. at Mechanicsburg Cemetery, 320 South Frederick Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant George A. Spangler officiating.
