William “Bill” David Snyder, age 62, of Carlisle , died at Holy Spirit Hospital on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Born in Mechanicsburg, on Thursday, February 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Roy Adair Snyder and Mildred Elizabeth (Eckert) Snyder. Bill was the husband of Kathryn “Kathy” Cleo (Zeigler) Snyder whom he married on July 31, 1970.
Bill’s survivors include his loving wife, Kathy of 43 years; his loving daughter, Donna Snyder and her companion John Lamplugh; and one brother and one sister.
Bill graduated from Cumberland Valley High School as part of the class of 1970. He retired from Forklifts Inc. Bill was a lifetime member of NRA, had memberships in Cody Firearms , Buffalo Bill Historical Center , Colt Collectors Association , Colorado Gun Collectors Association , and Lebanon Valley Corvette Club . Bill was a 32 nd degree Mason and a member of the Harrisburg F& AM Lodge #629. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and his daughter’s horses.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at his residence.
