Yoko was truly a wonderful person. She was selfless and loving with her family and friends. She lived a life of integrity and devoted herself to everything she did.
John and Yoko raised their family in Japan and several states before settling in Pennsylvania. As an Air Force wife, she worked hard to adapt to the unfamiliar American lifestyle. She was proud to be an American and, together with John, taught their kids to be proud of their heritage.
They also spent many years in Indianapolis but returned to Pennsylvania after Yoko retired from insurance underwriting and John from sales.
Yoko enjoyed RV trips with John, photography, birds, Englebert Humperdinck and Nat King Cole music, Doris Day and Rock Hudson movies and loved her little dogs, Sprite and Pooter. But she was the very happiest with her family, especially John, her sweetheart for 68 years, who could always make her laugh.
Yoko will be honored in a joint celebration of life alongside her husband, John. Cremation was private.
The family sends their most heartfelt thanks to Artis Senior Living of West Shore Memory Care and Residential Home Health Care & Hospice who so lovingly cared for Yoko during her illness.
