Daniel “Dan” Joseph Fink

Daniel Joseph Fink, formerly of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, died suddenly at his home in Cave Creek, Arizona on Monday, March 14, 2016.  He was 43 years old.  He was born February 8, 1973, to Joseph R. Fink and Sun Fink.

In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by daughters, Jasmine Araiza of Mechanicsburg and Jordan Rolko of Enola; sister Susan Fink Thomas (Jim); nephew Bradley Thomas; nieces Lauren and Alexis Thomas; and grandmother Regina Fink.

Daniel was an amazing father, friend, brother, son and grandson.  He was a talented photographer, operating his own business, FinkFoto, for several years and began coaching his daughter Jasmine in photography.  Jasmine’s last memory of time spent with her father was in fact shooting a wedding professionally alongside Daniel in Arizona.  Daniel moved to Arizona in 2004 to be the caretaker of his father and grandmother, despite dealing with his own personal pain which began as the result of long term post-surgery risks he endured.  Although thousands of miles away, Jasmine spent every summer visiting with him, taking road trips, sometimes from Pennsylvania to Arizona or vice versa.  He helped raise her and watched her grow into a beautiful amazing young lady with a huge heart.  He was a 1992 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School.  He enjoyed traveling, rock climbing, skiing, drawing and taking Jasmine to Cornerstone Coffeehouse for a cookie and milk as a special ritual.  Daniel had an abundance of talent, fabulous sense of humor, and infectious laugh.  He easily made friends no matter where he was.  He was loved by so many.

All are welcome to join Daniel’s family for his gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. at New Covenant Fellowship, 4500 Creekview Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050; with Pastor Brett Hartman officiating.
